St. Patrick, Shamrocks
Thursday March 17, 2005
I should probably mention St. Patrick today, but I'd just end up annoyed, so I won't. For the record, folks, the shamrock is a pre-Christian symbol. It was not, however, used to symbolize the "Mother, Maiden, Crone." On a brighter note, tomorrow is "Sheela's day" in the Celtic world, but I don't imagine that would go over as well as an export. (Who's Sheela?)
