I found this bit of weirdness in my hometown newspaper. Keep in mind this is a teeny little place in Upstate New York, and almost overwhelmingly Catholic. The ominous bit is the police expressing interest in the "individual" who handed out this manifesto...posting your religious beliefs anonymously might be a tad odd, but in any case, still legal. What makes it hilarious is the matter of fact assumption that Satanists all belong to the CoS, and the insinuation that the guy leaving the letters is somehow a heretic.
