Religious discrimination, The Lower Number of the Beast, 'Gnostic' leader under the Scrutiny, Rosslyn Chapel and the Grail

Wednesday May 4, 2005
A muslim believer in Chicago is suing his employer for religious discrimination after being fired. (The EEOC statistics are worth reading and very telling.)

Looks like the revision of 666 to 616 is getting around...it'll be funny to see what the "end-time" preachers come up with in respoinse to this.

There are finally some pictures of the "most beautiful Mummy" discovered near Saqqara. The nearly 3000 year old sarcophagus is perfectly preserved and the colors are still brilliant..definitely something to see.

Gnostic believers are in the news again, but this isn't good news. The leader of a small (purportedly) Gnostic group is in hot water for seducing the seventeen year old daughter of followers. (Not that I would categorize this as a 'Gnostic' group, as King seems almost certainly a member of a 'Process Church' group, a Scientology splinter group.

The next James Randi?

First, fish wars. Now...

Another call is going out to examine the vaults underneath Rosslyn Chapel, long believed by many to be the last repository of the Holy Grail. A lobby group made up of descendants of knights of the Templar Order is pressuring the Rosslyn Chapel Trust to allow an electronic viewing of the vaults below the chapel.
