As most people who own a televison or go outside already know, Tom Cruise has been getting increasingly vocal about his Scientology inspired religious views. This, of course, has led to a few celebrity catfights (he crticized Brooke Shields for using anti-depressants, she was none too pleased). Recently he seems to have really stepped in it, making absurd claims that Carl Jung was a Nazi and that methadone was named for Adolph Hitler- the latter being an urban legend and the former an outright smear. I used to feel a lot of sympathy for the sometimes unecessary criticism hurled his way for his beliefs, but instead of showing empathy, he seems to be dishing it out with a vengeance.
