Fetus Smuggling, Scientology Hoax, Religion and the Ills of Society
Thursday September 29, 2005
Columbian authorities find fetuses secreted inside religious statues with crucifixes and religious medals...and conclude Satanism.
An anonymous someone (or someones) with a big grudge against Scientology has been using anonymous press releases to attack the group. The latest attempt was a bogus announcement that Tom Cruise would be giving free lectures on the "evils of psychiatry." Whoops!
Is religion good for society? Apparently not...according to a newly published study, there is a correlation between a society's belief in God and the incidence of crime, teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, and reduced mortality.
