But, but..
Paranormal Investigators Barred, Breastfeeding What?
Thursday October 27, 2005
We don't worship Satan or sacrifice children, magic is just a kind of praying..for crying out loud, wouldn't it be easier to be a Unitarian? I remember a time when witches wanted to be witches. I do understand not wanting to be associated with 'child sacrifice,' but does every Wiccan who finds a reporter really have to imply that Satanists are? Maybe it's just me, but I think it's just a wee bit hypocritical to malign another religion while trying to banish 'misconceptions' about your own. (And remember, please, that there were other sorts of witches before there were any Wiccans- and there still are- something to keep in mind when telling others what witches are and aren't!) Another one. Here's another, with no mention of Satan, but asides about the 'Wiccan sun Goddess.' Honorable mention to "A Wicca is one who belongs to the religion of Wiccan." Sheesh.
The true meaning of Halloween?
The city Council in Roslyn, Washington, decided they don't want paranormal researchers holding a Halloween vigil. in their cemetery Apparently the dead find tape recorders 'disrespectful.' I have to assume they prefer the vandals they're sure to have now that they've advertized an unguarded cemetery.
Some apalling halloween costume suggestions.
A very weird controversy- over a breastfeeding witch...it's enough to give a fundy of any stripe a heart attack. The really creepy bit is the gal who 'wasn't ready' to 'explain nursing' to a four year old. Poor child.
