A Copyrighted Christian Message, Shintos Protest Women on Throne

A plan to allow women to ascend the Imperial Throne of Japan is drawing heavy opposition from representatives of thousands of Shinto shrines. The representatives claim that allowing women in the royal seat will cause 'disrespect' to the throne. Apparently all that modern thinking about the worthiness and equality of women is just too much for these guys to process.

The word of God, at least as interpreted by the Catholic Church, will no longer be free, as the Vatican moves to place copyright restrictions on the utterances of the pope and his predecessors.
