Smithy Code Solved, Sufis in Iraq, Bush Talks to God

The "Smithy Code" has been cracked, and it looks like it wasn't worth the trouble. The lawyer who first discovered the code while browsing Smith's ruling on the Da Vinci Code plagiarism suit enlisted the aid of his firm and the solution followed shortly: "Jackie Fisher who are you Dreadnought." Yikes.

This brief look at Iraq's Sufi population in the Houston Chronicle is a bit disappointing. Reading this, one might get the impression that snacking on light bulbs is an ordinary part of Sufi religious practice.

Is the Pope of pirate? Some speculation that the Pontiff's Prada shoes are knockoffs.

George Bush admits the war in Iraq was a mistake, and lists God as one of his policy advisors. God seems to have ommitted a few things.

The Philadelphia City Paper offers suprisingly supportive coverage of Philly's Sacred Sexuality Beltane Festival, and seems impressed with Pagan polyamory.

It's difficult to pick out the particulars from this long rant against alcohol, holocaust survivors, and rock music, but the gist seems to be that the União do Vegetal of Brazil is denying any relation to the New Mexico "branch" which recently won a Supreme Court ruling authorizing the use of Ayahuasca in religious rituals.
