Excommunicated? (And More Scientology Strangeness)
Thursday February 7, 2008
Jenna Hill Miscavige, neice of Scientology president David Miscavige, is more or less being officially shunned for her public support of Tom Cruise biographer and Scientology critic Andrew Morton. What's interesting is that a writeup in the New York Post includes Miscavige's detailing of Scientology practices that sound awfully similar to a more established Church that also likes to toss offending members on their ears... Curiously, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to strange doings in Scientology this month, following the release and subsequent squelching of a pro-Scientology video interview with Tom Cruise, anonymous anti-Scientology internet attacks, an anthrax hoax, and impassioned defense by actress Kirstie Alley.

Scientologists Dont Want You to Read FREE MIND FREE BODY book by D R Boisse!
Free Mind Free Body helps readers use their own minds and it will help people to break free of scientology cult mind control by promoting that people think for themselves and understand self-imprisonment and setting yourself free from self limitations that other people put on you. The Scientologists dont want people to know how their mind works outside of their stupid cult because then scientology.org wont be able to trick their followers anymore. Read what the scientologists dont want you to know! read Free Mind Free Body and tell your friends so we can help those people who get tricked and sucked into scientology from their mind control tactics preying on weak minded people who just dont know any better. I found the book at http://www.FreeMindFreeBody.com its available worldwide
That video of Tom Cruise has already been yanked — when you click on it, it says “Sorry, this video is no longer available.”
And the other link is completely blank for the video. It doesn’t matter. Tom isn’t necessarily saying Scientology is the only way. I hear a great deal of personal responsibility voiced. And that’s good. It is out of vogue to encourage young people to get involved in doing things to help people and improve society. And scientology at least appears positive and not so negative and condemning like the Christian sects that insist they have the only line of Truth and a direct line to the very ear of God and NO BODY ELSE DOES because they are all misreable sinners and all that negative, sickening stuff condemning everyone. If Scientologists can get some respect in America maybe the rest of the reilgions can–even Wicca, etc. One could only hope freedom of religion is not dead yet.
Unfortunately, Scientology is a cult, and, just like many other cults, works to control the minds of its members, rather than encouraging free thought.
I was disfellowshipped (equivalent of shunned/excommunicated) by the Jehovah’s Witnesses. When questioning is squelched and when logical thought processes are interfered with, cult thought takes over. If you saw the video of Tom Cruise, which I did, it was scary, but also quite sad. He could not complete a coherent sentence explaining any one thought he had. He is a kind man, obviously desirous to help people and the world in general, but his good heart has been used against him. I feel very sorry for him.
