Raelians Build First Elohim Temple

By December 19, 2010

Follow me on:

While the Raelian Movement has been around for 36 years, it has only just gotten around to building its first permanent temple, a place for meditation, the presentation of seminars, and the performance of the Raelians' relatively infrequent rituals.

Called the Korindo, the building was built, of all places, in Japan.  Rael, prophet of the Raelians, is himself French, and a fair number of Raelians are European.  However, estimates for Asia are also high, with several thousand likely residing in Japan alone.

This temple should not be confused with the Elohim Embassy that the Raelians wish to build.  The Embassy would have the same rights as embassies of sovereign nations.  It is only when the Embassy is established that the Elohim will make their existence widely known to Earth's population.
