Follow me on:

House prices are falling everywhere, and everyone trying to get rid of a house right now is trying to be as clever as possible in making their home attractive to prospective buyers.  usually that means straightening, cleaning, and repairing, perhaps updating old wallpaper or carpeting, and so on.

In Salem, MA, in includes spiritual house cleansings.

Cleansings comes in a lot of different forms, depending on the background of the practitioner.  The basic concept is to push out negative energies and influences while welcoming or creating positive ones. The result should be a happier, more inviting space in which to live.

While believers live throughout the US, Salem possesses a notable concentration of them.  As such, the practice is much more familiar to the locals, as are the people willing to provide the service, sometimes for free, and sometimes for a price.

Hmmm! I wouldn’t mind trying that!

Ridding oneself of the negative energies is always a good thing. Ridding the home of negative energies is just as great.

I wonder what she uses in that spell and how it’s done.

To Seraphima, you can find a whole swag of house cleaning, etc, sites and tips on the net. Don’t limit yourself to any, though. do your homework, then create a cleansing suited specifically just for you. I’ve done this a couple of times, and it sure works for me!

And, if nothing else, most of the commonly used herbs burned in cleansing / smudging rituals help chase odors out of the air — fresh paint funk, for instance. The combination of cedar and sweetgrass even works on latex paint smell.
