Yesterday, an elderly woman in Jharkhand was branded and blinded with a needle after being accused of witchcraft by a local schoolteacher. She is expected to live, however, some 700 women are reported to have died this way in the last decade in Jharkand.

The two Episcopal priests who posted Druid rituals on the Episcopal Church website appear to be in more hot water after it was discovered that the two are actually practicing Druids. Christian Druids, but I doubt that distinction will matter too much to the frothing conservatives in the Church.
