Druidry a traffic Offense?

Thursday June 23, 2005

Think religiously motivated pharmacists are bad? How about proselytizing cops? Imagine getting pulled over and lectured for having a Druid bumpersticker on your bumper. That's what happened to one Druid couple in South Carolina recently, who afterward recieved notes demandiung they attend Baptist services. Another version.

Anopther controversy is brewing up over an often court-ordered parenting class in Palmdale, Ca., which uses materials produced by a fundamentalist Christian outfit. Pagan parents attending the class found Pagan symbols labelled evil and a warning to parents to practice "zero tolerance" when it comes to occultism. On a positive note, the authors seem to be aware that times have changed and are planning to rewrite the material.

Zen kitties?
