The OTO in Australia has had its first court victory:
The Australian O.T.O. has now achieved its first victory against some of the people who have made the baseless allegations that we are a satanic cult engaged in murder, child abuse, child sacrifice and cannibalism, and that the Book of the Law advocates these activities.In case you missed it, the OTO in Australia is fighting ridiculous charges of "satanic Ritual Abuse" and child sacrifice; the oiriginal "claim" can be found here: Mick's Experiences.
We challenged two of the authors of this material, Dyson Devine and Vivienne Legg, in a court of law by filing defamation claims against them. Devine and Legg failed to appear at either hearing, but sent in what the court described as an "embarrassing" submission in their defence.
The court found that the two had defamed the O.T.O. as well as individual members of the Order that were named on the Devine/Legg website. O.T.O. is now in the process of having this judgement enforced.

There is a reason for the accusations.
Aleister Crowley was a former head of the OTO. He made a number of references to child sacrifice in his writings. The most notorious came from Aleister Crowley’s Magick in Theory and Practice. It reads: “For the highest spiritual working one must accordingly choose that victim which contains the greatest and purest force. A male child of perfect innocence and high intelligence is the most satisfactory and suitable victim.”
There is no reason. Crowley himnself explains the joke on the same page wherein he makes it (It’s a tongue in cheek comment about masturbation)
I see this reference made quite a bit, but nobody seems quite able to look iot up themselves for context.

Well, now you’re in prison after all your lies. If you happen to get out of prison; you
should come to my website where the reading thereof will educate you on the truth on
who we are. I am the greatest genius; and leading authority in these matters and no one
but myself is qualified to discern between such items.

and if you are caught lying again; you return to prison with an even longer sentence.
Bill Morgan has been slandering us of late, as well, and it might very well take another
court case with he as the next to go to prison. I have been told by my assistant Mr. William
Breeze that Bill Morgan is another dangerous liar. He should be publicly warned that we are
a harmless religious group; and his slander will only result in lawyers and court rooms.
Since we are NOT Satanists; nor in any way break any laws in any country; I see more
slanderers need to be shown the error of their ways.
Stand warned; and I, G.M. Kelly will not tolerate you, this imbecile Bill Morgan or anyone
else lying about the O.T.O.; and as its Leader will find you and sue you again and again until
justice is done in the courts.
