"Smurfageddon," Exorcism vs. Silent Birth, Charlie Daniels attacked by Irony

Friday October 14, 2005
This is about the weirdest and possibly creepiest thing I've ever seen (and a really dumb idea to boot!).
More proof that racists are idiots- vandals spraypainted a Sikh temple and several businesses in California with anti-Muslim graffiti. Sigh.

The Vatican held their first exorcism class today, and the press is playing right along, for some reason- apparently, Tom and Katie having a baby is silence* is too weird for words, but teaching priests to boot devils from other humans is accepted without question (and remember kids, listening to loud music means you worship Satan.)

Speaking of Satanism, my once childhood hero (don't ask) is defending his iconic song "Devil went Down to Georgia" after it was dropped from a marching band song list as satanic. A bit of an ironic twist for a man who has been such a vocal opponent of Church/State seperation.
