No Pentacles Yet for Vets, Satanic Mouse Pads, Religion and Sex

Wiccan groups are still trying to get the Department of Veterans Affairs to offer pagan religious symbols for veteran's tombstones. The VA provides veterans of three dozen faiths (including obscure faiths such as Echankar and with specialized religious grave markers, but has been ignoring requests to offer a pentacle for Pagan vets. Wiccans and other Pagans have been lobbying for years without results.

The Egyptians aren't the only ones who are weird about sex. Take, for example, the Kabbalists in Israel praying and fasting to expiate 'sexual sins,' especially nocturnal emissions.

This is surprising: according to a survey by the Skeptical Inquirer, the more educated a person is, the more likely they are to believe in ghosts and other paranormal activity.
