Hayes' Huff, Abusing Technology, Falwell

Tuesday March 14, 2006

Scientologist Isaac Hayes has quit "South Park," citing religious intolerance. Recent episodes of the show have lampooned Catholicism and (of course) Scientology. South Park co-creator Matt Stone claims it's the funning about just one religion that bugged Hayes: "This is 100 percent having to do with his faith of Scientology... He has no problem - and he's cashed plenty of checks - with our show making fun of Christians." Hmm.

Some people with too much imagination think they've spotted Noah's Ark. Proof that education doesn't make you smart, as the professor hints around that he may actually believe the 'anomaly' is a giant boat floated up the mountain by a global flood.

Jerry Falwell "graciously" (his word) clears up a misunderstanding.
