Remember the "subliminal messages" craze? Well, it's back, with a bizarre anti-catholic twist. A bizarre new movie seeks to blame the Catholic Church's child abuse scandals on satanic subliminal messages hidden in religious art. The charmingly titled "Rape of the Soul" accuses everyone from medieval illuminators to Botticelli of sneaking demonic faces, aborted fetuses, and reference to '666' into their art.
