Spiritism & Spirit Communication, Priest of Ogun, Wiccan Tomb Issue, Wicca TV
Friday March 24, 2006
Reuters has an excellent profile of a Spiritist group in New York, which is an interesting coincidence, as Yvonne Limoges of the Florida Spiritist Society is our featured Guest Author this month. You can read Yvonne's case for spirit communication: Why Should We Study the Messages of Alleged Spirit Communications?
Another nice profile today is of Florida's Wilson Alexandre, a Priest of Ogun in Haitian Vodooo. The article describes at length a typical consultation with the Lwa and accurately describes many facets of Haitian Vodoun. On the down side, the author appears to use this site as a source for some material without attribution-hopefully, this is an oversight, and not a sign that nobody loves us. (heh heh)
The Wiccan Symbol issue continues to dog the Dept. of Veteran's affairs, who claim to be "near a decision" whether or not to allow Wiccans to place pentacles on the tombs of Wiccan Vets. Funny what a little public scrutiny can do to grease the rails of bureaucracy. (Symbols currently allowed)
Someone's gathered together a number of Wiccan/Pagan oriented YouTube selections. Also on YouTube is this hysterically bizarre video of a man frantically jigging for Jesus.
