OES in Georgia Forbidden to be Co-Masons, China Harvesting Organs from Falun Dafa, "Dear Governor Huckabee"

Burning Taper reports that Eastern Star members in Georgia are being threatened with expulsion for participation in Co-masonry, thus far the only branch of the Masonic family that admits women.

Evidence surfaces that supports the claims of Falun Gong (Dafa) that the Chinese government is indeed harvesting organs from imprisoned members of the group.

A Vatican spokesperson suggests stem cell researchers should be excommunicated. No word yet whether he feels the same way about church members who make use of fertility treatments.

The Pope, meanwhile, is concerning himself with more weighty matters- that is, getting rid of guitars in church. Reportedly, the Pontiff prefers Gregorian chant.

A Virginia Beach resident is seeking to exonerate a local healer executed for witchcraft more than 300 years ago. Midwife Grace Sherwood was convicted and executed after failing the ordeal by water.

A "Dear Governor Huckabee" campaign asks for letters to Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee in support of the "West Memphis Three," three young men wrongly convicted of the "Satanic" murder of three little boys.

A Wiccan woman is suing her employer, alleging she was fired from her job after superiors learned of her religion. The woman claimes she was referred to as a "Devil Worshipper" and asked to leave after requesting a religious holiday.

Not sure how the OES fits in here, since the OES is not a religion.

But those UGLA boys will do anything to get in print, I guess.
