Religious Police, Malta's Pagans, Satellite Dish as Religious Necessity?

The Iranian government last week moved to ban the Da Vinci Code more than three years after its initial release. Not surprisingly, the book is becoming a bestseller in the country as buyers rush to grab copies before the ban goes into effect.

Muslim clerics in Afghanistan are pressuring the government to bring back the religious police.

Meanwhile, the American religious police are calling for a new ban on alchohol, one which would place Jesus himself on the wrong side of the law, along with at least one well known member of his fan club.

You might remember a story a few months back about a lawsuit that challenged condominium rules about the posting of religious objects on doors. A new case is a little stranger but seems to fall under the same general category- a Canadian man is fighting his condominium board over his satellite dish, which he claims is necessary for him to receive televised religious instruction.
