Latvians busy knitting woolen mittensas gifts for delegates of an upcoming NATO summit have been warned to avoid a traditional folk symbol related to the swastika. The symbol at issue is the traditional thunder cross, a symbol not likely to be mistaken for a Nazi emblem.
