Sylvia Browne's True Colors

The self-professed psychic huckster Sylvia Browne told the parents of the recently recovered kidnap victim Shawn Hornbeck that their son was dead, and offered to help locate his body- for the bargain price of $1400 an hour, but negotiations failed when it was revealed that the boy's mother was broke. What's worse, it appears her 'visions' even derailed search efforts:
"Browne's "vision" of his death caused search teams to redirect their efforts and drew dozens of calls from the public who believed they lived near the woods matching Browne's descriptions."Sylvia's defense is even more ironic:
"I think it's just cruel to jump on this one case in which I was wrong"But it's not just one case, is it?

I think all psychics receive symbolic pictures/info which are very hard to interpret. Sometimes just feelings or impressions. If they could do an exactly correct reading on something, they’d all hit the lottery and retire. And sometimes psychic impressions can be read out of the minds of others involved. So in Sylvia’s case, the boy might have felt dead or the kidnapper was thinking about his death, etc. And in the case of the girl, Sylvia might have been reading the thoughts of the insane kidnapper/killer and it had nothing to do with the girl. Psychics can do readings on people in other levels of consciousness…such as if they are dead to this world but very much alive on another level. For an example: a friend of mine went missing for a very short time. I spoke with his partner on the phone and told him I sensed this friend was peaceful and OK and everything was all right. However, the next morning, I was the first to get a letter from the friend which felt more to me like a suicide note rather than just a person saying good-bye and running off. I told my husband and he was sure the friend just ran off and was saying good-bye but I was pretty sure it was intended as a suicide note. Afterwards, I felt badly that told the partner that this friend was okay even tho he WAS happy and OK after passing from this world…Of course his partner would have taken my impression to mean the friend was still alive and OK. I didn’t think to verify the feelings. I was sorry I didn’t pick up on the fact the friend was on the other side, but I was absolutely correct on picking up the friend’s state of mind in the other consciousness level after he had passed.
Even John Edwards needs to verify the symbols he receives from people on the other side by asking their living relatives if his impressions are correctly interpreted. I don’t think any psychic in the history of the world has been 100% correct 100% of the time.
I do believe in special gifts and life after death. But Sylvia Browne is a devil. As a Christian, that’s the only way I could see this. We should not let her earn a single penny going forward. (Rather, she should refund all her victims all the money she conned!!!!) All who stand by her side, should know they are condoning her actions. You are letting her continuously hurt/deceive people and you are just at fault! HOW DARE SHE USES GOD’S NAME AND SAYS SHE IS GOD’S INSTRUMENT! CAN GOD BE THIS WRONG???????? Everyone who says you still love her are playing a role in an evil deed because you are the ones who let her continuously deceive people. She uses our God’s name for her business over the expense of greiving souls. Now how evil is that? She should be put out of business so that she won’t hurt anyone anymore. Imagine if anyone should take actions bsed on her false predictions and advics. She is a dangerous person. Montel William is not even a human being if he continues to support her just for his ratings. WE SHOULD RUN A CHAMPAGNES TO SHUT HIS SHOW DOWN IF HE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT HER. THAT IS NO DIFFERENT FROM WHAT SHE HERSELF IS DOING - THEY ARE TOGETHER DECEIVING PEOPLE OF THEIR MONEY AND THE TRUTH. Really, when we didn’t know and were all deceived by her, that’s one thing, but to let this continue when truth has been revealed will be a shame (personally I think is a sin!)
