Richard vs. Sylvia
Monday January 22, 2007
It's going to be a rough year for self-styled psychic Sylvia Browne. Columnist Richard Roeper chews Sylvia up over her long record of errant predictions, especially the 'vision' she recounted to the parents of very much alive Shawn Hornbeck, telling them their son was dead (and the attendant claim that sahe offered to locate the body- for a price). Roeper gleefully recounts Browne's many mis-steps, from the silly (the Christmas gift-exchange in heaven) to the pathetic (telling the widow of a 9-11 firefighter her boyfriend drowned), to the outrageous (informing the public that the miners who died in the Sago disaster were, in fact, alive).
