Chewing, Crunching, Slurping
Their many objections include lots of naked people parts. This includes a novel argument on the part of the reviewer that it's unecessary because he's "never seen nudity in a poem" and a bit of a rant explaining that dirty minded early Christians were responsible for nudity in the bible.
The CGI art is also apparently too pretty, too- apparently, it;'s all the more sinful that animation talent was wasted making the above-mentioned naked parts. Also bad: mead. Although I would seriously question anyone who made a movie about ancient Norsemen and forgot to include any raucous drinking songs, it's apparently unchristian to depict ancient raucous pagans. The reviewer raves at length that movie drinking encourages kids, but doesn't weigfh in on whther Jesus' drinking is factored as an influence. (I kid, we all know that was grape juice!)
After all the the nudity and alcohol, the reviewer even manages to squeeze in a brief objection to Odin worship and assorted demonic blasphemy, and a few words abpout murder: "Chewing, crunching and slurping are heard as the demon eats the man's head."

They were worried about bad manners and behaviors? Funny. My grandmother taught me manners (which I practice most of the time) and how to be a lady (which was a complete failure!). For some reason, no matter what religion and culture, I was taught the burden of learning what and what not to do starts at home.
As Odin… They need to brush up on Norse history and mythology. Most cultures had some drink of favor and there were celebrations that got just down right bawdy! Heh Heh. Take a look at the Bacchinals and Dionysus celebrations.
Chewing, crunching and slurping? That’s just another meal with my kids… perhaps there’s some demonic influence afoot!
And the big question really is, would the eating of the man’s head been acceptable if it had lacked sound effects?

By all means, let us teach the demons to chew thoroughly, and with their mouths closed!
