Albertus Magnus was a thirteenth century Bishop and Catholic saint rumored to be a ritual magician. He is best known in magical history for a book of Natural magick ascribed to his authorship, The book of secrets of Albertus Magnus (most historians believe the work was compiled by a student of Albertus). He is also rumored to have created a Golem in magical experiments with Thomas Aquinas.
