In Zoroastrian mythology,
the Amesha Spentas (Bounteous or Holy immortals,) are
the seven beings, many former deities of the earlier Persian pantheon,
who act as emissaries between God and man. Sometimes likened to archangels, the Spentas are more often viewed as emanations
or facets of Ahura Mazda or
personified ideals rather than separate entities.
the Amesha Spentas are:
Asha: Spirit
of Truth
Vohu Manu:
Good Mind; the divine in manking
Khshathra:
Spirit of
Holy Power; union with the divine
Spenta Armaiti:The
spirit of Benevolent Devotion and Love
Haurvatat:
Spirit of health
Ameratat: The
spirit of Immortality.
