Babalon is Aleister Crowley's altered spelling of Babylon, the incarnation of Babylon the Great of the Revelation of John the Divine (AKA, the Book of Revelation), the personification of the kabbalistic sphere of Binah, and Thelemic Goddess. The spelling was "corrected" by Crowley to yield a Gematric value of 156.
