The Ek Onkar is a Sikh symbol of the unity of God, commonly found emblazoned on Sikh Gurudwaras. Ek Onkar means "God is one," and the symbol is derived from the Sanskrit OM. The Eckonkar is also referred to as "Sat naam," true name.
