Freyja is the Norse Goddess of love. The daughter of the Sea God Njord, and sister of Freyr, Freyja was originally a member of the Vanir, but moved to Asgard (along with her father and brother) to reside with the Aesir after peace was brokered between the rival groups.
Freyja takes a share of the heroic dead, dividing them with Odin at the end of every battle. She is reknowned for her beauty, and is the goddess of love and lust. She travels in a chariot driven by cats. Freyja means "lady."
