The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the collection of Sikh holy scriptures. They are called "Guru" because they are believed to be the last doctrinal authority after a line of ten human Gurus- the last, and 'living' Guru. The scripture contains numerous works of devotion by Sikh gurus, as well as selections from outside religious leaders and scripture.
