Ma'at is the Egyptian goddess of justice. She is a lunar goddess, sister to Isis and ?? She ruled over laws, order, and justice, as well as the motion of the cosmos. Her emblem is the feather, used to jusge the souls of the deceased.

A series of "negative confessions" contained in the Book of the Dead are referred to as the "Principles of Ma'at" and deferred to as a code of conduct for Egyptian religious reconstructionists.

In modern Kemetic religion, Ma'at is the principal of universal justice, a concept similar to Karma in eastern religions. Ma'at is personified as a Goddess, but is not strictly a deity.
