Mabon is
the Autumn equinox, as celebrated by modern (mostly American) Pagans and
Wiccans as one
of the eight Sabbats, or holidays, in the Neopagan festival calendar.
The name Mabon refers to a Celtic dying God legend, which has no historical
tie to the modern holkiday.
