Ochosi is one of the major Orishas of the Santeria/Lukumi religion. Portrayed as a wild hunter, he is one of the warriors, with Ellegua, Ogun, Chango, and Oshun. He is closely related to the Orixa Oxossi of Candomble.

Ochosi represents the forces of nature, and is similar to many vegetation deities. He is described as beautiful, a wild hunter who wears skins.

Ochosi is the Orisha of justice, ruling over the justice system. He is the patron of prisoners and the accused. He symbolizes balance, judgement, and reason.

Ochosi's colors are blue and orange, his most recognizable symbol is a bow an arrow.

Pronunciation: Oh-cho-see • (noun)
