the Candomblé
religion of Brazil, Pombagira is one of many aspects of the Orixa
Exú (Eleggua). Pombagira is an Orixa unique to Brazil. She is a
prostitute (sometimes pictured with horns, as Exu is often depicted as a devil),
and her manifestation is aggressively sexual.
She is a patron of
prostitutes, the transexuals, and the downtrodden.
