In Norse mythology, Valhalla is
the abode of warriors slain in battle,
and the magnificent home of the Aesir in Asgard, and the einherjar, or heroic
dead. Warriors slain
in battle would enter through Valgrind, one of five hundred doors, but only after
completing several obstacles.
