Vodoun
One
of the family of African/Cuban syncretic religions, Vodoun is a form of African
tribal religion brought to the Caribbean by African slaves from the Dahomey region,
combined with elements of Christianity. Not to be confused with 'Voodoo,' a Hollywood
caricature of the religion.
