The Goddess Nuit (Nut, Nwt, Nuith, Nathor). Nut (noot) is the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, representing the fullness of the cosmos. She is usually depicted nude, a body made of stars, arching over the world.

In Egyptian mythology, Nut swallowed the sun every evening, and gave birth to it every morning. She was the mother of the deities Osiris, Isis, Seth and Nephthys. Her name is the root of the word "night" in a number of tongues.

In the Thelemic faith, Nut is Nuit, the personification of infinite space, the goddess who revealed herself to Aleister Crowley in 1904.
