Leonardo's Androgyne?

Leonardo's Mary Magdalen, and his sketch "Angel in the flesh" superimposed. The image meshes strikingly well, and creates a very typical alchemical hermaphrodite. Note the positions of the arms, which appear to make an "as above, so below" gesture.
