Raelians believe that the Elohim - alien, humanlike beings who originally created humanity on Earth - monitor the behavior of all humans. Sometime after the death of a human, the Elohim will judge their worthiness.
The Elohim may clone humans who have proven themselves through love and good deeds, allowing them to live for eternity on another planet. Particularly despicable humans might be cloned do that they may be punished for their deeds. Those people who are not ethically notable will simply not be cloned at all.
Being a Raelian does not win extra points with the Elohim. In fact, the Elohim will hold the Raelians to an even higher standard since they have specifically received and acknowledged their teachings.
Stages of Cloning ProcessRaelian cloning is about more than simply creating a genetic duplicate, which is only the first step in their process. Additional steps include accelerated growth, so that a cloned embryo can mature into a baby and then into an adult in a matter of hours, rather than over 20 years.
Finally, cloning requires the transmission of memory and personality into the created body – a feat commonly depicted in science fiction as being a part of cloning but in reality requires completely different technology.
